We are currently seeking an innovative, proven leader who shares a passion for building and leading exceptional teams in the Senior Living industry. The Supportive Living Executive Director is responsible for the overall direction and performance of the community, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and financial sustainability.

The Executive Director establishes, implements, and evaluates goals and objectives that promote quality outcomes and align with the organization's mission and philosophy.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for community operations
  • Maintain full responsibility for financial performance, including budgeting, cost controls, and fiscal management
  • Make strategic decisions and set priorities to achieve operational and census goals
  • Ensure effective onboarding, training, coaching, performance evaluation, and development of team members
  • Establish systems and procedures to achieve high levels of quality, productivity, and service
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including Medicare/Medicaid requirements
  • Partner with Marketing to position services effectively in the marketplace
  • Collaborate with the Leadership Team to develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies
  • Analyze data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities; implement solutions to support long-term goals
  • Stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes through professional associations and publications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare operations management experience
  • Prior Executive Director experience in Senior Living or Supportive Living required
  • Experience with budget development and financial oversight
  • Knowledge of Illinois Supportive Living regulations
  • Strong leadership, managerial, and team-building skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, decision-making, and assertiveness skills
