Business Operations Department  

As a part of the Vantage Operations team, the Business Operations department is responsible for ensuring standards for operation performance, maintaining customer leases, producing monthly customer electivity bills, generating regular reports, and supporting Operational Effectiveness.  The Business Operations department also works closely with all Vantage departments to ensure customer success from the construction process through daily operations and delivery activities. 

Position Overview

This role can be based in these US locations: Atlanta, GA and  Ashburn, VA.

The ServiceNow Platform Developer will contribute to the development, configuration, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform for NA Operations. This role will work with other developers, business stakeholders, and product owners to implement solutions, resolve issues, and support ongoing platform enhancements. The developer will participate in cross-functional projects and collaborate with teams to ensure platform reliability and effectiveness.

Essential Job Functions

  • Contribute to ServiceNow platform development and configuration for NA Operations, ensuring alignment with established standards and operational priorities.

  • Maintain and update Configuration Items (CIs) in the CMDB, ensuring data accuracy and supporting asset management processes.

  • Apply platform standards and best practices in development, integrations, and data management.

  • Participate in the configuration and optimization of maintenance schedules using Work Order Management modules, in collaboration with stakeholders.

  • Work with business stakeholders and other developers to translate requirements into ServiceNow solutions.

  • Support automation and workflow improvements for maintenance, change management, incident response, and asset onboarding.

  • Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvements and assist in implementing changes to enhance data capture and operational efficiency.

  • Support compliance with cyber security, architecture, and audit requirements as directed.

  • Stay informed on ServiceNow releases and industry trends, sharing relevant updates with the team.

  • Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to performance optimization.

  • Maintain documentation and support UAT, release validation, and production deployments as part of the team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in ServiceNow platform development and administration.

  • Experience implementing ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules (Request, Case, Change, FSM).

  • Understanding of CMDB architecture, ITIL processes, and asset lifecycle management.

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Business Rules, UI Policies, and Data Import Sets.

  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and contribute to platform initiatives.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow using tools such as ServiceNow CICD APIs, GitHub/GitLab/Azure DevOps is an asset.

  • Commitment to code quality and compliance with development standards.

Preferred Certifications

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Required

  • Field Service Management Implementer (CIS) – Preferred

  • ITIL v4 Foundation or higher – Preferred
