Mechanic

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive mechanical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive systems, as well as the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards, providing exceptional service to our customers.

Duties

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicles
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignment, and tire service.
• Repair and replace components such as transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, shocks & struts, and HVAC systems.
• Utilize schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop or on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanic with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance.
• Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects safely (up to 50 pounds).
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions.
