We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our restaurant team. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Head Chef to manage kitchen operations, ensure food quality, and maintain a clean, efficient, and organized kitchen.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure proper food handling procedures
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and taste
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen at all times
  • Monitor inventory, assist with ordering, and reduce food waste
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Step in for the Head Chef when needed

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Line Cook experience
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Passion for cooking and creativity in the kitchen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.64 per hour

Work Location: In person
