Position Summary
This postdoctoral research associate position will express and purify human glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP), perform in vitro assembly assays and analyze filament structure by transmission and cryo electron microscopy

Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
PhD or similar degree in Molecular Medicine or similar field

Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Experience with gfap expression, purification, assembly and analysis

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
An ideal candidate will have had recent post-doctoral experience in a basic science research laboratory or clinical research. A strong publication record is advantageous.

Special Physical/Mental Requirements
Ability to communicate scientific data verbally and in written form
