Manufacturing OPEX Asst. Manager

Job Summary
The Manufacturing OPEX Manager is responsible for overseeing operational excellence initiatives within the manufacturing facility. This role involves leading process improvement projects, optimizing production workflows, and ensuring efficient resource utilization to enhance overall productivity. The manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement aligned with company goals.

Duties

• Lead and coordinate operational excellence projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and reducing costs.
• Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies for process optimization.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles and other continuous improvement methodologies across departments.
• Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote a culture of operational excellence among staff.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to develop standardized work procedures.
• Drive waste reduction efforts and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Prepare reports on project progress, outcomes, and areas for further enhancement.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manufacturing operations management or continuous improvement roles, preferably within a production environment.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other operational excellence methodologies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable plans.
• Effective leadership and communication skills to motivate teams and facilitate cross-departmental collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with manufacturing software systems and data analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to process improvements.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
