Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to provide comprehensive support to attorneys in all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate will assist with case management, discovery, document preparation, and trial support, ensuring cases proceed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation, from case inception through discovery, motion practice, trial, and post-trial activities.
Draft, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.
Prepare and respond to discovery requests, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission.
Assist with depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness materials.
Maintain case files, calendars, and dockets.
Coordinate and manage electronic discovery, document review, and case management systems.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys.
File court documents, including e-filing where applicable.
Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and other parties as directed.
Perform administrative duties to support litigation teams, including document organization and tracking deadlines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred; Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
2–5 years of experience in litigation, preferably in complex civil or commercial matters.
Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and filing requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis) and document management systems.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
