Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating Box Trucks. This role involves delivering freight efficiently across designated routes while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to handle load and unload operations as needed. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial Box Trucks
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as electric pallet jacks, load bars, e-track and straps.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Follow designated routes and schedules to deliver freight efficiently and on time.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety standards, and company policies during transportation activities.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery status or any issues encountered during routes or on docks.
• Assist with securing cargo to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Perform routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Proven experience in truck driving, including route driving and freight delivery.
• Knowledge of load & unload procedures and safety protocols for freight handling.
• Strong driving skills with a clean driving record.
• Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with city driving.
• Physical ability to load/unload freight and perform routine vehicle inspections. This position requires a dedicated professional committed to safety and efficiency on the road while providing excellent service to clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
