Construction Field Supervisor

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Field Supervisor to oversee and coordinate construction projects on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, extensive construction management knowledge, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, managing project schedules, and maintaining quality standards to deliver projects efficiently and within scope. The Construction Field Supervisor will play a pivotal role in guiding teams, managing resources, and ensuring project success from initiation to completion.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and construction crews to meet project milestones and quality standards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of work
• Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, and other industry tools for project scheduling, budgeting, and documentation
• Oversee project budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations (OSHA standards)
• Monitor progress through project scheduling tools; adjust plans as necessary to address delays or issues
• Ensure safety protocols are followed; conduct safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance on-site
• Prepare reports on project status, issues, and risks for stakeholders
• Lead problem-solving efforts related to technical challenges using tools like Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting when necessary
• Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle

Experience

• Proven experience in construction management with a minimum of 5 years supervising construction sites or projects
• Strong background in managing large-scale infrastructure or pipeline projects preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with construction management software including ProCore, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools
• Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, and project scheduling
• Supervising experience with a focus on safety compliance (OSHA standards) and quality control processes
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively
• Familiarity with contracts management and construction site safety regulations is highly desirable

Pay: $49, $60,114.66 per year
