to conduct a search for a
Project Manager.

As a key member of the development team, the Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing assigned real estate development projects, from conception to completion. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities:
· Assist SVP of Development in managing development projects, including planning, design, permitting, construction, and project closeout.
· Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
· Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to facilitate project progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
· Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and regulations.
· Prepare and review project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and other project-related correspondence.
· Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, investors, and clients.
· Identify and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success.
· Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on project sites and within project teams.
· Collaborate with the development team to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
· Travel to site visits required, typically within a region located from Savannah to Richmond.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, or related field.
· Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or development industry, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget, preferably with a General Contractor.
· Strong knowledge of real estate development processes, including entitlements, permitting, design, and construction.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
· Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project or Bluebeam.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
· Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
