Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Use handheld scanners and other technology to track inventory and confirm picks.
- Pack and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring items are securely packaged.
- Stage picked orders for loading onto delivery trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient operations.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other picking equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and PPE.
- Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is beneficial.
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Commitment to following all safety regulations and using appropriate PPE.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for extended periods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
