Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper organization.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with company standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stocktaking.
- Perform tasks that require significant Lifting and physical exertion.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and meet deadlines.
- Contribute to the overall success of the distribution center's logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures is essential.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and perform other physical tasks.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed.
