Our Richmond, Virginia fulfillment center is seeking a dedicated Fulfillment Associate. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate order processing and shipment. You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including picking products, assembling orders, packing items securely, and preparing them for dispatch. Your efficiency and accuracy directly contribute to our customers' satisfaction and the overall success of our logistics operations. A strong focus on Safety is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Inspect products for quality assurance before packing.
- Package orders with care, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Verify order accuracy against system requirements.
- Label packages correctly for shipping and distribution.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, which may involve moderate Lifting.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or order picking role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer skills for using scanning equipment or order management systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Willingness to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting.
- A strong dedication to workplace Safety.
