Join our dynamic distribution center in Miami, Florida, as a Picker/Packer. This fast-paced role is essential for fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for locating items in the warehouse, picking them according to order specifications, and packing them securely for shipment. We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to Safety. This position is ideal for those who enjoy a physically active role and contributing to a smooth logistics operation. Comprehensive training will be provided on all aspects of the job, including the proper use of equipment and adherence to our Safety protocols, including mandatory PPE usage. Accuracy and speed are key, and some moderate Lifting will be involved. Be a crucial part of our order fulfillment process and ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order lists or scanner data.
- Pack items carefully and securely into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify that picked items match order requirements to ensure accuracy.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Assist with maintaining inventory accuracy through diligent scanning and reporting.
- Keep the workstation clean and organized.
- Follow all company Safety guidelines and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform tasks that involve moderate Lifting and physical dexterity.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems is helpful.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring regular Lifting.
- Commitment to workplace Safety.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
