Our fast-paced logistics and distribution center in the heart of New York City, New York, is seeking energetic Warehouse Associates. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on the accurate and timely handling of goods. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. We pride ourselves on maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming inventory, verify quantities, and inspect for damages.
- Accurately pick products based on customer orders and prepare them for shipment.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate materials.
- Stage outgoing shipments and load them onto delivery vehicles.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all regulations.
- Operate manual and powered equipment as needed, following all Safety guidelines.
- Must be able to handle repetitive Lifting of packages up to 40 lbs.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety shoes and vests, as mandated.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts and stock checks.
- Support overall logistics operations and collaborate with team members to meet deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including standing, walking, bending, and Lifting throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and following operational procedures.
