Our San Antonio, Texas facility is looking for an energetic and reliable Material Handler to join our growing team. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our warehouse and contributes directly to our **Logistics** efficiency. You will be responsible for moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and organizing inventory within the warehouse. A strong emphasis is placed on **Safety**, and all candidates must be willing to adhere to strict **PPE** guidelines and operational procedures. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to perform regular **Lifting**, and a cooperative attitude. Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials and products from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated areas to ensure proper organization and **Safety**.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as directed.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to all **Safety** regulations.
- Wear and utilize all required **PPE** correctly.
- Perform **Lifting** of items up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding material status and workflow.
- Support the **Logistics** team by ensuring materials are readily available for various operations.
- Follow all company **Safety** policies and **PPE** requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or material handling experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Understanding of basic warehouse **Safety** practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent **Lifting**.
- Willingness to wear and use all designated **PPE**.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Familiarity with basic **Logistics** terminology is helpful.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Must be able to work in a dynamic warehouse environment.
