We are seeking motivated Order Pickers to join our thriving logistics center in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently fulfilled. Your primary responsibilities will include selecting items from warehouse shelves, verifying order details, and preparing them for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and a commitment to workplace safety are paramount. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, energetic, and capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with team members to meet daily picking quotas and contribute to the overall success of our distribution operations. Your diligence in following procedures and maintaining a safe work area is critical. Proper use of all required PPE is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or scanning devices.
- Verify the quantity and description of items picked against order specifications.
- Pack items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as directed.
- Must be able to perform moderate Lifting of products, typically up to 30 lbs.
- Ensure correct and consistent use of PPE provided.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret order instructions and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Understanding of basic logistics processes.
