We are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Boise, Idaho. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the accuracy of our warehouse inventory, a critical function for our logistics operations. Your responsibilities will include tracking stock levels, performing regular cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring that inventory records are up-to-date. A strong focus on accuracy, organizational skills, and adherence to safety standards are paramount. You will work closely with warehouse staff and management to ensure efficient inventory management and support overall operational goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly and accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Receive, inspect, and properly record incoming inventory.
- Assist with put-away of received goods into designated storage locations.
- Process outgoing inventory accurately, ensuring correct items and quantities are shipped.
- Monitor stock levels and report any low stock or potential shortages.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inventory storage area.
- Support the logistics team by providing accurate inventory data and insights.
- Perform tasks that may involve moderate lifting and material handling.
- Understand and implement warehouse safety best practices.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a related warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and WMS systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate lifting (up to 20 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a logistics team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
