Are you a motivated individual looking for a stable and engaging role? We are hiring a Warehouse Worker for our facility in Omaha, Nebraska. This position is vital to our supply chain, involving the handling of goods from receipt to dispatch. You will be involved in unpacking, sorting, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. We are looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding safety standards in all aspects of their work. Previous warehouse experience is a plus, but not essential as full training will be provided. Your role will directly impact the efficiency of our logistics operations. This includes contributing to accurate inventory tracking and participating in regular inventory checks. You'll work closely with your colleagues and supervisors to achieve daily targets and ensure the highest levels of quality service. We believe in fostering a positive and productive work environment where safety is paramount.
Responsibilities:
- Unpack, inspect, and store incoming shipments.
- Replenish inventory stock in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Package orders securely for safe transit.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery as needed and trained.
- Keep the work area tidy and free from hazards.
- Participate in inventory counts and reconcile stock levels.
- Report any damages or stock discrepancies to management.
- Follow all company guidelines on safety and operational procedures.
- Capable of regular Lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear provided PPE for your protection.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Excellent accuracy and focus on tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage time effectively.
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential.
- Comfortable with physical exertion and standing for long periods.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
