We have an exciting opportunity for a Material Handler to join our team in Provo, Utah. In this role, you will be instrumental in the smooth operation of our warehouse by ensuring materials are moved, organized, and staged efficiently. Your responsibilities will include operating material handling equipment, receiving and stocking inventory, and preparing materials for shipping or production. Upholding strict safety standards and properly using all required PPE are essential aspects of this job. This position requires physical stamina, with regular lifting , bending, and standing for extended periods. A basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory flow is advantageous. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Move, sort, and stage materials within the warehouse and production areas.
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock materials in designated locations accurately.
- Prepare materials for outbound shipments, ensuring correct quantities and labeling.
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts.
- Ensure the work area is clean, organized, and safe, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any issues or needed maintenance.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE .
- Assist with general warehouse duties and support the overall logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in operating common warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
