Join our dynamic team in Las Vegas, Nevada, as a Forklift Operator! We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, load, unload, and stack materials in our warehouse. This role is crucial for the efficient operation of our logistics and distribution center. You will be responsible for ensuring that materials are handled safely and accurately, contributing to inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment. The ideal candidate possesses a valid forklift certification, a strong understanding of warehouse operations, and an unwavering commitment to Safety. You will work closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to maintain workflow and achieve production goals. Responsibilities include conducting pre-operational checks on equipment, safely maneuvering loads, and maintaining an organized work environment. Mandatory adherence to all Safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is expected. This position involves significant operation of powered equipment and may require occasional moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs) for specific tasks. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and shipping containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, and loading docks.
- Stack and arrange materials in designated locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operational checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain an orderly and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Properly use required PPE, including safety vests, hard hats, and steel-toed boots.
- Assist with inventory counts and verification as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Thorough understanding of forklift Safety and operating procedures.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to Safety.
- Willingness to wear PPE at all times.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
