Pay:$17.00 an hour/ could be more depending on experience.

Job Title: Breakfast / Lunch Line Cook

Position Summary:

The Breakfast/Lunch Line Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating menu items for breakfast and lunch service efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. This role requires strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast and lunch according to recipes and portion guidelines.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain the line and prep stations before and during service.
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet company standards.
  • Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures at all times.
  • Assist in receiving, rotating, and storing food and supplies properly.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, line, and prep areas.
  • Assist with prep work, cooking, and cleaning duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  • Monitor food waste and assist in controlling food cost.
  • Uphold health and safety regulations in accordance with local and state requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1 2 years of line cook or breakfast cook experience preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in grill, saut , and egg cookery techniques.
  • Strong sense of urgency and time management.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move for long periods.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Schedule: Early morning and daytime shifts required; weekends and holidays as needed.

Work Environment:

Fast-paced kitchen setting; exposure to heat, steam, and noise. Requires adherence to safety standards and team collaboration.
