Eye Center of the North Shore is a family-oriented MD/OD practice looking for a full time Optometrist. Working here is an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic doctor looking to join an innovative practice servicing the greater Boston area. You will see varying appointment types (medical, routine, contact lenses and Co-management cataract cases) with strong tech support and the latest cutting-edge equipment. *Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough eye examinations utilizing advanced diagnostic tools to assess visual acuity, ocular health, and overall physiology.
* Diagnose and manage a variety of eye conditions, including refractive errors, ophthalmic diseases, and pediatric vision issues.
* Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) or Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
* Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care involving ophthalmology expertise.
* Stay current with medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in optometry to deliver cutting-edge care.
*Skills*
* Proven experience with optical equipment, EMR/EHR systems, and medical coding for accurate documentation and billing.
* Excellent patient care skills with a focus on customer service, empathy, and clear communication.
* Experience working with pediatric patients and addressing their unique vision needs is highly desirable.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
