websites are built with WordPress (Elementor Pro + Gravity Forms) and integrate with
Zapier, Google Sheets, and other marketing systems.
This role combines front-end design, back-end development, and systems integration.
You’ll collaborate closely with our marketing team to maintain high-performing,
compliant, and user-friendly websites that drive conversions.
American Higher Education Development Corp (AHED) is the parent organization behind
Stautzenberger College, Rockford Career College, and Cannavision
Institute—institutions dedicated to helping students build better lives through career-
focused education. You will be working with the marketing team, which plays a critical
role in this mission by supporting multiple brands and program offerings with innovative,
data-driven strategies that connect students to life-changing opportunities. You will be

Key Responsibilities:
Front-End Web Design & Development
● Design and update page layouts and content using Elementor Pro to align with
brand standards.
● Ensure pages are responsive, fast-loading, and visually consistent.
● Implement SEO best practices using RankMath (metadata, schema, internal
linking, etc.).
● Optimize landing pages for conversion (CTAs, lead forms, tracking pixels).
Back-End Development & Maintenance
● Build and maintain Gravity Forms, including conditional logic and multi-step
forms.
● Troubleshoot and update plugins, themes, and core with minimal downtime.
● Implement tracking pixels and scripts (Meta, Google Ads, Analytics, TikTok, etc.).
● Perform regular site performance checks and resolve technical issues quickly.
Integrations & Automations
● Connect WordPress data (Gravity Forms submissions, etc.) to Zapier and Google
Sheets.
● Create and maintain automations between the website and CRM/marketing
systems.
● Test and document all workflows to ensure data flows correctly and securely.
Qualifications:
● 3+ years of professional WordPress experience.
● Proven work with Elementor Pro and Gravity Forms (advanced features preferred).
● Familiarity with Zapier, Google Sheets, and API/webhook integrations.
● Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
● Working knowledge of RankMath SEO and on-page SEO optimization.
● Experience troubleshooting plugin conflicts and website performance issues.
● Eye for design, UX, and responsive layout best practices.
● Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
● Reliable communication and ability to manage multiple projects independently.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):
● Experience with UTM tracking, Google Tag Manager, and analytics integrations.
● Understanding of higher education, lead generation, or multi-brand websites.
● Experience connecting websites to CRMs (e.g., Verity, GoHighLevel, HubSpot) or
marketing automation tools.
Work Environment:
● Ongoing, part-time freelance role with consistent weekly tasks and deadlines.
● Work directly with our marketing operations team through ClickUp, Slack, and
Google Drive.
● Although hours can be flexible, you must be available at least 4 hours between 9
AM – 6 PM EST for collaboration when needed
