Auto Body C-Level Technician / Dismantler

Location: Cable Dahmer of Topeka
Pay Range: $18-$20/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable C-Level Auto Body Technician (Dismantler) to join our collision repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently dismantling vehicles to prepare them for repair and ensuring all removed parts are organized, labeled, and stored properly. This is an entry- to mid-level role ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in a professional body shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Dismantle damaged vehicles and document all parts removed.

Inspect and identify all parts that require replacement or repair.

Tag, label, and organize parts for body and paint technicians.

Communicate with estimators and parts department regarding any additional damage found.

Assist in reassembly of vehicles as needed.

Maintain clean and organized work areas.

Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.

Support the body shop team as needed with various tasks.

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in an automotive or body shop setting preferred.

Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.

Ability to use hand and power tools safely and correctly.

Basic understanding of vehicle systems and repair processes.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
