Job Summary

The Fleet Leasing Inside Sales Representative is responsible for qualifying and cultivating leads that fit the inside sales representative desired profile (For Hire Carriers with 10-50 Trucks in their fleet) with the intent of converting such leads into lease customers for TEL. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong sales background, and the ability to develop meaningful relationships with prospects to encourage trust and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop an excellent working knowledge of TEL's products and services along with the ability to sell such to TEL leads and customers and prospects, specifically where TEL can add value with service and product offerings to effect profitability and cash flow.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with prospects to encourage trust and loyalty.
  • Execute efficient use of Salesforce and other software providing diligent, complete, and detailed lead contact documentation.
  • Research key accounts, identify key players and generate interest in TEL's products and services through cold calling, email, and internet research.
  • Route qualified warm leads to the correct sales team member.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails.
  • Assist with customer service calls when needed.
  • Meet/Exceed KPI for sales production for the position.
  • Research and provide intelligence on competitors within assigned AOR.
  • Keep in touch with overall transportation market trends and disrupters.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all SOP and Company Policies.
Requirements
  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop meaningful relationships with prospects to encourage trust and loyalty
  • Strong sales background
  • Experience with Salesforce and other software
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to meet/exceed KPI for sales production for the position
  • Knowledge of the transportation industry is a plus
