Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Technician to join our team in . The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced equipment, including programmable logic controllers and hydraulic systems, supporting the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility. Candidates with experience in industrial electrician work, HVAC/R, or military technical roles are highly encouraged to apply. Fluency in English and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
- Operate and interpret programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to ensure optimal machine performance.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for work order management and maintenance scheduling.
- Conduct welding tasks, including welding, ensuring safety and precision standards are met.
- Work with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems while adhering to safety protocols.
- Use precision measuring instruments for accurate diagnostics and adjustments.
- Assist with field service operations, including troubleshooting on-site equipment issues.
- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Support customer service initiatives by providing technical assistance when required.
- Operate equipment such as scissor lifts safely for access to elevated areas during maintenance tasks.
Experience
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in industrial mechanics and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and control systems used in industrial settings.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HVAC/R systems, and hydraulic components.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, including welding practices.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
- Prior experience working with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems is preferred.
- Field service experience is advantageous, especially involving analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues.
- Military background with technical training is considered a plus due to the discipline and technical expertise it provides. This position requires candidates to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, technical analysis capabilities, and a commitment to safety standards across all maintenance activities.
