Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding service using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system efficiently for transactions, cash handling, and sales processing.
• Supervise team members during shifts, overseeing cashier duties, stocking, merchandising, and customer interactions.
• Conduct product demos and upselling to enhance sales opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.
• Manage stock levels through stocking and merchandising activities to ensure attractive product displays.
• Assist with inventory management by performing stock checks and supporting inventory audits.
• Support the store's daily operations by ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety protocols in a grocery store environment.

Qualifications

• Prior supervising experience in retail or grocery stores is highly preferred.
• Strong proficiency with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math skills for accurate transactions.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette.
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products and promote store promotions confidently.
• Experience with merchandising, stocking, and retail sales techniques.
• Knowledge of grocery store operations including cash handling, retail math, and customer service standards.
