Hands-On Music – Piano Instructor (Part-Time)

Southern Art Music Initiative was founded in 2015 with the goal of passing on folk music and art music traditions, with an emphasis on family and service. Hands-On Music is our modular piano program, designed to provide age-appropriate instruction for K–5 students. Classes meet once a week for one hour.

Our program emphasizes music literacy, proper piano technique, and at-home practice using a dedicated practice app. Every student receives a keyboard to keep, along with take-home materials.
