Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the entire kitchen team, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment that encourages growth and high performance.

- Oversee all food production activities, ensuring dishes meet the highest standards of presentation, taste, and safety.
- Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize food costs without compromising quality.
- Coordinate food service operations during all shifts, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets, and catering events.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain rigorous sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
- Oversee dietary department requirements, accommodating special dietary needs with sensitivity and expertise.
- Supervise catering operations by planning menus, managing staff schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality service.
- Monitor kitchen equipment maintenance and ensure proper storage of ingredients to uphold hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular staff training on food preparation techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with management on menu planning for special events or seasonal updates to keep offerings fresh and appealing.
- Lead by example in serving guests professionally while maintaining a lively, energetic atmosphere in the kitchen.
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in restaurant management, fine dining, catering, and food production.
- Proven supervising experience leading diverse kitchen teams with effective team management skills.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster a cohesive work environment.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices across the food industry.
- Experience in banquet operations, event catering, or large-scale food service environments is highly desirable.
- Expertise in menu planning, inventory management, and cost control strategies to maximize efficiency.
- Skilled in food handling techniques including cooking methods, food preparation, serving practices, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with dietary department requirements to accommodate various dietary restrictions confidently.
- Ability to manage shift schedules effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control during busy periods.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with suppliers, staff members, and management teams.
