Commercial Drywall Estimator-5+ Years Experience Required

Job Summary
The Commercial Drywall Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate, detailed cost estimates for drywall, metal framing, and acoustical ceiling projects. This individual will collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to ensure bids are competitive, complete, and aligned with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

• Perform detailed quantity take-offs for drywall, metal framing, insulation, and related scopes.
• Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposals.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Collaborate with project managers and leadership during project handoff to ensure a smooth transition from estimate to execution.
• Maintain and update historical cost data for future use.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a drywall estimator or similar role in commercial construction.
• Strong understanding of drywall systems, metal framing, and acoustical ceilings.
• Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., On-Screen Takeoff, Quick Bid, Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $130, $180,000.00 per year
