Electrical Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our manufacturing team. This role involves assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems for industrial applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience with industrial maintenance and control systems. Duties

• Assemble electrical components and systems according to schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Install sensors, switches, relays, some programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Conduct wiring, wiring harness fabrication, and high/low voltage connections adhering to safety standards.
• Test electrical assemblies with ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system improvements and modifications to enhance products.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician or in electrical assembly within manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of ac and dc electrical, mechanical systems, sensors, switches, relays, ac and dc motors, and stepper motors. Knowledge of PLC programming (Velocio) a plus.
• Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams.
• Background in industrial maintenance or field service work is advantageous.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
