Apprentice Plumber

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems, construction site operations, and mechanical tasks. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, possess basic technical skills, and have a strong interest in developing a career in plumbing and construction trades. This role provides valuable training in pipe threading, blueprint reading, and the use of various tools and equipment essential for plumbing projects.

Duties

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems on construction sites and remodeling projects
• Learn to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems
• Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment to assemble and install piping systems
• Support the setup of construction sites by preparing materials and organizing work areas
• Perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and layouts
• Gain experience in welding, carpentry, and maintenance person tasks as needed for project completion
• Contribute to the maintenance of tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency on-site
• Follow safety protocols at all times while working around construction sites

Qualifications

• Prior experience or familiarity with construction, plumbing, or related trades is preferred but not required
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, welding, pipe threading, and schematics is advantageous
• Mechanical knowledge or HVAC experience is a plus
• Strong interest in learning about construction plumbing, remodeling, maintenance, and field service work
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately
• Good problem-solving skills with basic math proficiency
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Prior experience in construction site work or maintenance person roles is beneficial
• Willingness to learn new skills through on-the-job training and mentorship

Pay: $ $26.00 per hour
