The Role
This role is centered on running sales conversations and closing deals.
You'll work directly with insurance agency owners, guiding them through discovery and demos, helping them understand where our solutions fit, and closing recurring monthly contracts. Opportunities will come from a mix of outbound activity, partner referrals, warm lists, and inbound leads.
You'll work closely with the founders, have real visibility into the business, and be part of building how sales operates as the company continues to scale.
What You'll Do
- Nurture both warm and cold prospects into demo meetings
- Run discovery calls and live demos with independent insurance agencies
- Call and email warm prospect lists to nurture relationships and book demos
- Conduct outbound outreach to targeted prospects when needed
- Qualify opportunities and recommend the right combination of services
- Manage deals from first call through close and handoff
- Maintain accurate pipeline, notes, and forecasting in CRM
- Follow—and help refine—a structured sales process
- Consistently hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets
This role is about selling, closing, and driving new revenue.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Have 2–6 years of B2B closing experience
- Are comfortable selling to SMB business owners
- Can confidently handle pricing, objections, and close conversations
- Are organized, process-driven, and disciplined in CRM usage
- Prefer a clear target customer and proven offer
- Enjoy the fast paced startup environment
Icing on the cake - Have sold websites or Insurtech SaaS tools (monthly retainers preferred)
Compensation & Incentives
- Base salary: $60,000–$80,000 (based on experience)
- Commission: 8%–15% commission
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): $100k–$130k+
- Uncapped upside with clear targets for equity participation
Ramp & Expectations
- First 30 days: Training on our sales system, shadowing demos, learning offers, appointment setting
- Days 31–60: Prospecting, running demos with support, first closes
- Days 61–90: Full ownership of pipeline, quota, and forecasting
You'll Be Successful Here If You:
- Bring proven scripts, talk tracks, and outbound workflows
- Can operate a volume-first sales motion without burning quality
- Know how to bootstrap around roadblocks instead of waiting on resources
- Use metrics to diagnose problems and improve performance
