Employment Type: Full-Time (Part-time considered)
Compensation: Starting at $140,000–$180,000 annually (commensurate with experience), plus bonus potential
About the Role
WellTech Partners is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a high-performing team in the Red Bluff/Redding area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinician or a new graduate eager to grow their skills in pain management, musculoskeletal care, and rehabilitative medicine. This long-established medical group specializes in pain management and rehabilitative care, offering innovative, cost-effective, and compassionate treatment for acute and chronic pain conditions through a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions under physician supervision
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans
- Perform minor procedures and assist with interventional pain management techniques as appropriate
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and prescribe medications within scope of practice
- Educate patients on pain management options, self-care, and rehabilitation strategies
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physicians, therapists, behavioral health providers, etc.) to optimize patient outcomes
- Document all patient encounters promptly and accurately in the electronic health record
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and facility protocols
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted California Physician Assistant License or California Nurse Practitioner License
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Experience in pain management, musculoskeletal disorders, orthopedics, or workers' compensation care preferred (training provided for new graduates)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience preferred (residency experience accepted for new graduates)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to patient-centered care, ethical practice, and continuous professional development
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
