Location:
SF/Bay Area, California working at an upstart company in Fintech/Financial App for emerging markets.
We're building a consumer finance app for emerging markets, in partnership with extremely large distribution partners. We are creating a joint virtual banking and cryptocurrency wallet that allows users all over the world to move seamlessly within our financial ecosystem.
Why now: stablecoins are changing cross-border payments. There is an opportunity to rebuild financial infrastructure for the 3 billion people who need better financial rails.

Job Description:
The Role
We're seeking a strong iOS Engineer to lead our mobile client development. We will also be building an Android and a mobile-friendly web app in parallel, so there may be room to stretch impact depending on your skills. You'll architect the Android stack, set standards, and build a highly performant, reliable, and secure app from the ground up. This role could evolve into a mobile lead across platforms as we scale.

MUST HAVE SKILLS
Requirement:
- Strong early stage startup/founding engineer experience
- 10+ years building and shipping consumer-facing iOS apps natively in Swift
You might be an especially good fit if you have:
- Experience building for the Latin American Market
- Experience in financial technology
- Good design sense
- Full-stack engineering skillset and ability to flex across other parts of the stack
Requirements First candidate was very competent enterprise engineering leader, but client is looking for someone super hands-on, brings some mobile exposure, and someone who has start up experience is what they want. NOT someone who has been high up in management at an enterprise corporation, which is a big mismatch with this client
