POSITION SUMMARY
The Enterprise Program Manager, EPMO plays a key role in driving enterprise transformation, continuous improvement, and increasing resourcing effectiveness across Welch's.
This role will lead program management for multiple enterprise initiatives while managing the strategic portfolio of transformation and efficiency efforts that enable Welch's to deliver its Strategic Growth Plan (SGP).
The Program Manager will partner with C-suite, senior leaders and cross-functional teams to ensure execution discipline, improve visibility into enterprise priorities, and embed best practices in project governance and resource allocation.
This position requires a proactive, structured, and collaborative leader with proven experience turning strategy into execution through effective prioritization, process improvement, and change leadership.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead Strategic Program Delivery – Manage and execute a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives designed to improve business processes, increase resourcing efficiency, and accelerate results.
- Optimize Resourcing Effectiveness – Analyze how time, talent, and investment are allocated across initiatives; identify opportunities to improve productivity and eliminate duplication.
- Drive Continuous Improvement – Partner with leaders to identify, prioritize, and implement enterprise process enhancements that streamline work and decision-making.
- Elevate Enterprise Portfolio Management – Maintain a holistic view of enterprise initiatives; track progress, interdependencies, and capacity impacts.
- Strengthen Governance and Accountability – Develop cadence and KPIs for enterprise project oversight; ensure initiatives are delivered on time, in scope, and on budget.
- Enable Change and Adoption – Support stakeholder engagement, communications, and training to embed new processes and ways of working.
- Advance EPMO Excellence – Support portfolio reporting to executive leadership team and C-suite, improve PM tools and templates, and drive consistency in project management practices.
WHO YOU ARE
- A strategic program manager who sees the big picture and brings clarity through structure.
- Adept at managing complexity and aligning stakeholders to shared outcomes.
- Experienced in continuous improvement, Lean/Agile principles, and business transformation.
- A trusted partner and communicator, able to influence across functions and levels.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
- 5–8 years of program/project management experience, ideally in transformation, operations, or continuous improvement. (multidisciplinary experience is a plus)
- PMP and/or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent experience strongly preferred.
- Proven success in leading enterprise initiatives, improving processes, and driving measurable performance outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana, Power BI).

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $130,000 to $140,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
