About the Role

We are seeking highly driven and detail-oriented
Business Systems Analysts
to support ongoing and upcoming initiatives within the
Financial Services and Automobile Insurance domain
. This role is ideal for professionals who excel in functional analysis, systems support, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and vendor partners to optimize application performance and support enhancements across multiple systems.

This is a
12-month W2 contract
with a high potential for extension. This opportunity requires working
onsite 3 days per week in Plano, TX
.

Responsibilities

  • Provide business and functional support for existing applications to maximize stability, performance, and usability.
  • Analyze, document, and validate business requirements, workflows, integrations, and system processes across new and existing applications.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive functional and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with Developers to perform QA testing and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, standards, and best practices within the Systems team.
  • Manage vendor relationships to ensure delivered functionality meets business needs and requirements.
  • Deliver on-call support to ensure seamless system functionality.
  • Support multiple concurrent projects while balancing competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate strong adherence to Change Management, Project Management, and Business Analysis methodologies.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Experience within
    Financial Services and/or Automobile Insurance
    domain preferred.
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly detail-oriented in documentation and requirements gathering.
  • Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively in team environments.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Motivated to learn new technologies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of Change Management processes.
  • Proficiency with Business Analysis methodologies, tools, and project lifecycle concepts.
