Job Description:
We are looking for exceptional Technical Project Managers to join our growing team in Thousand Oaks, California.
As a Technical Project Manager,
you will drive the full lifecycle of complex client implementations for our aviation-focused SaaS platforms. The role involves close collaboration with engineers, client success specialists, and leadership, while also requiring direct engagement with both technical teams and high-level client stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical solutions. This is not a passive coordinator role – it requires proactive ownership, rigorous execution, and a deep technical grasp of our solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Execute the entire onboarding journey for new clients
- Develop detailed project plans to lead and drive complex projects to completion
- Manage all aspects of the client implementation process and project life cycle
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to scope client requests
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to manage client expectations and ensure client satisfaction
- Manage a portfolio of clients at various stages
- Manage and provide mentorship to a team of Client Success Specialists
- Oversee team performance in meeting goals and expected milestones
- Review and improve processes to ensure effective client implementation and management practices
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen (Due to Government Contract Requirements)
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience leading technical software implementation projects
- Proven ability to manage complex client-facing software deployments with concurrent stakeholders
- Able to translate technical requirements into clear project deliverables and vice versa
- Deep understanding of web-based SaaS products, APIs, integrations, and data migrations
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent client implementations with competing deadlines while maintaining high-quality delivery across all projects
- Experience managing cross-functional teams including engineering and support roles
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; able to lead client calls, demos, and training sessions
- Comfortable owning high-stakes client relationships and managing demanding client expectations
- Ability to quickly learn technical concepts and communicate complex information effectively
