Prep Cook (Part-Time)
Location: Victory Restaurant & Lounge – Miami, FL

Victory Restaurant & Lounge is looking for a dedicated and dependable Prep Cook with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality food and thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, portion, and label ingredients according to Victory's recipes and prep standards.
• Maintain food quality, freshness, and proper presentation at all times.
• Execute prep tasks efficiently while following food safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist line cooks and chefs during service by keeping stations stocked and organized.
• Rotate and store ingredients properly using FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.
• Clean and sanitize prep areas, equipment, and walk-in coolers daily.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen management regarding shortages, waste, or product quality.
• Support overall kitchen operations and complete additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ year of kitchen or prep experience preferred (restaurant or food service).
• Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking and prep techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining cleanliness and quality.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $17.00 per hour
