We are looking for an experienced Plumber to efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes (All residential warranty work). A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge of residential plumbing. They are patient individuals with a practical mind and manual dexterity, able to work efficiently with great attention to detail. The goal is to install and maintain well-functioning systems that transport water, waste, gases or hot liquids.

The position being offered is strictly commission based, not salary. We like to let our employees be in control of their pay; the more work you put in, the more you get out of it. Pay can be discussed over an interview. Our sales reports are competitive and we often have contests throughout the year for our plumbers.

We service Baton Rouge and surrounding areas all the way over to the Slidell area. Provided items will be a truck, gas card, and phone.

Weekends will be required, we have an on call schedule that you will be in rotation for.

Our work is based from home warranties, all of it is residential. License and Certification is not required, but we encourage it.

Responsibilities

• Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure
• Install and maintain water supply systems
• Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
• Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
• Repair domestic fixtures (e.g. sinks) etc.
• Install waste disposals

Skills

• Proven experience as a plumber
• Solid understanding of water distribution and disposal systems in residential homes
• Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly with a great deal of patience
• Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward space
• Experience in sales

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60, $100,000.00 per year
