Cybersecurity Analyst

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing security team. The ideal candidate will help protect our organization's digital assets, monitor security events, and support compliance with security policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor security systems and respond to security alerts and incidents under guidance.
• Assist in vulnerability assessments and support penetration testing efforts.
• Analyze security logs and events from firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection systems.
• Support the development and maintenance of incident response procedures and playbooks.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to implement security controls and follow best practices.
• Assist in security audits and compliance reporting (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
• Provide input and recommendations for security improvements and risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, network security, or information security roles.
• Exposure to SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, or similar), firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• Basic knowledge of network protocols, cloud security, and common attack vectors.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management and penetration testing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80, $108,694.20 per year
