Monday – Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Position does take call on rotation.

Manages the deployment, maintenance, upgrade, and support of system servers and critical core services including, but not limited to email, database, directory, backup and recovery and network services, as well as other non-critical system infrastructure services. Implements, and controls network infrastructure. Provides technical and system security compliance oversight and training assuring enterprise integrity of data. Resolves system configuration performance issues. Performs analysis, and system configuration in both a controlled test and production environment. Serves as a resource for internal and external customers.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide first-level technical assistance and support for incoming queries related to computer systems, software, hardware, and mobile devices.

  • Respond to support requests in person, via phone, email, or remote tools in a timely and professional manner.

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, including LAN/WAN problems, Microsoft 365 issues, and access control systems.

  • Walk users through problem-solving processes and escalate complex issues to the IT Director when necessary.

  • Install, modify, and repair hardware and software on desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.

  • Support core clinical applications such as Trubridge/CPSI and Athena Health under guidance of the IT Director.

  • Create, manage, and maintain user accounts, including issuing passwords and managing Active Directory access.

  • Assist with maintaining and troubleshooting PBX systems, desk phones, and mobile devices.

  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

  • Help manage network components, including switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and VPNs.

  • Provide after-hours support or on-call assistance as needed for critical system issues.

  • Monitor system performance, resolve outages, and implement optimizations.

  • Work with the IT Director to manage vendor relationships, contracts, and licensing.

  • Participate in IT projects, upgrades, and audits including HIPAA security compliance.

Physical Demands:

  • Frequent lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30lbs.

  • Combination of sitting, standing, bending, light lifting and walking.

  • Regularly exposed to risk of blood borne pathogens.

  • Exposed to unpleasant elements.

  • Requires the ability to manage stressful situations.

  • Occasional stress from varying demands.

Qualifications:

  • Education: IT degree preferred
  • Experience: Experience in a like position at a like facility preferred.
