The Technical Support Specialist for Systemates, Inc. is a tech-savvy, dependable individual with a knack for customer service. This individual will be our front-line support and must leave customers feeling heard and well cared for. This person will be able to think outside-the-box to come up with solutions for our customers, but also recognize when issues need to be escalated.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Act as the first touchpoint for all technical support cases through phone and email submission.
- Solve customer issues or escalate to the correct person and follow-up with the case until it is resolved.
- Drive a seamless customer experience that creates positive sentiment for our brand.
- Maintain documentation of common issues and create guides for the best solutions.
- Maintain working knowledge of the Projectmates platform, its use by clients, and product configuration.
- Collaborate with our customer-success and product teams to drive constant improvement.
- Performing other duties and responsibilities as required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related degree, strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience in de-escalation and maintaining professionalism in high-stress situations.
- Are software savvy with the ability to learn robust and highly complex software products.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in a customer focused position involving technical knowledge of a company's products and services.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized and a fast learner.
- Have knowledge of construction project management (This is a plus, but not required).
Where you'll be working
This is a hybrid full-time role based out of our Richardson, TX office.
