Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various residential construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodels to new construction, utilizing your technical skills and mechanical knowledge to deliver high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately install plumbing systems.
- Install, repair, and maintain piping, fixtures, valves, and other plumbing components using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform pipe threading, welding, and assembly tasks with precision to ensure secure connections.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems on construction sites to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to coordinate project timelines and site activities.
- Lift heavy materials safely and perform remodeling or renovation work as needed on existing plumbing infrastructure.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed for project documentation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong mechanical knowledge base.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Experience with HVAC systems is advantageous.
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
- Previous construction site experience is preferred.
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and components, including pipes, fixtures, and drainage systems.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate and code-compliant installations.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, construction crews, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify and resolve issues, ensuring all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.
- Carry out miscellaneous trade and construction tasks based on daily needs of projects
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on existing plumbing infrastructure.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company and industry safety protocols.
- Must possess a valid driving license (CDL) if required for specific job assignments. We are looking for a proactive individual who can work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in various situations encountered on the job site.
