Location: Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County (HFHCC) – Main Office, 728 E Front Street, Port Angeles, WA 98362
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Position Summary

Habitat for Humanity of Clallam County is seeking a motivated and mission-driven Resource Development Manager to lead fundraising, donor relations, grants, marketing, and community engagement. This role supports the organization's 5-Year Strategic Plan and strengthens community and donor relationships to advance Habitat's mission: A world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Key Responsibilities Fundraising & Donor Relations

● Develop and implement an annual fundraising plan with goals for revenue and donor growth.

● Cultivate and steward individual, major, and corporate donors in collaboration with CEO.

● Collaborate with the Communication Coordinator to ensure accurate CRM data, reporting, and acknowledgments.

● Support Board and CEO in donor outreach and fundraising initiatives.

Grants & Sponsorships

● Research and submit grant proposals; maintain a grants calendar and reporting deadlines (lead on grants under $10K; assist with grants over $10K).

● Identify, cultivate, and secure corporate sponsors and partners.

Capital Campaign Support

● Work closely with the CEO and fundraising consultant to execute the capital campaign.

● Manage campaign tracking tools, donor research, gift documentation, and stewardship activities.

● Assist with campaign materials, events, and communications, ensuring alignment with annual fundraising strategies.

Events & Community Engagement

● Plan and execute fundraising events, donor receptions, and community engagement opportunities.

● Coordinate event logistics, budgets, sponsorship outreach, and post-event reporting in collaboration with the leadership team.

● Represent HFHCC at community events, public meetings, networking functions, and outreach activities to enhance visibility and support.

Marketing, Communications & Branding

● Support the development of marketing and fundraising materials and campaign content.

● Ensure consistent branding and impact storytelling in collaboration with the leadership team.

Collaboration & Organizational Support

● Partner with the CEO, Board, committees, and staff to support resource development initiatives.

● Collaborate with the communication team to ensure consistent messaging and impact storytelling.

● Equip and support Board members and volunteers in their fundraising roles.

Qualifications

● Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.

● 3–5 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising or resource development experience, including individual giving, grants, and/or events.

● Strong writing, communication, organizational, and project management skills.

● Experience working with diverse staff, volunteers, and community stakeholders.

● Familiarity with donor CRM systems.

● Demonstrated initiative, ability to meet deadlines, and strong strategic judgment.

● Enthusiasm for relationship-building and representing the mission of HFHCC.

● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

● Valid WA driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass background, drug, and credit checks.

Preferred: Experience with major gifts, sponsorships, grants, or capital campaigns; basic design/social media skills.

Compensation & Benefits

● Salary: $50,000–$60,000 annually, based on experience.

● Schedule: Monday–Friday (Mondays remote); primarily in Port Angeles and Sequim; some evening/weekend work required.

● Benefits: Medical: 75% employer-paid / 25% employee-paid, and dental & vision: 100% employer-paid

● Paid Time Off: 12 paid holidays + Accrued vacation and sick time +3 personal days per year
