 Summary of Position: 

The Human Resources Associate, reporting to the Senior Manager of Human Resources, performs professional-level HR functions across staffing and recruitment, employee relations, and employee retention. The role supports both daily operations and long-term HR initiatives by ensuring effective talent acquisition, smooth onboarding, and responsive employee support.

1.

Conduct sourcing activities including database mining, job board postings, 

networking, employee referrals, attending job fairs, and coordination with third-party staffing partners. Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates.

2.

Facilitate and conduct candidate interviews, partnering with hiring managers to 

support strong hiring decisions. Build and maintain effective working relationships with hiring leaders.

3.

Coordinate onboarding processes including offer letter preparation and negotiation, relocation assistance, background checks, start-date coordination, and new-hire orientation in alignment with company procedures.

4.

Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of applicant tracking data, recruitment metrics, and processing of recruiting, relocation, and immigration-related invoices.

5.

Assist the Corporate HR Training Manager by recording and maintaining training documentation and ensuring accurate tracking of employee training records.

6.

Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, procedures, and general 

HR matters.

7.

Support the Senior HR Manager and HR Generalists in conducting workplace investigations and exit interviews following best practices. Assist with Workers' Compensation claims processing, routine drug and alcohol testing, and other HR compliance projects. Partner with HR team members to develop recommendations 

and strategies to address identified concerns.

Qualifications for Position: 

A. Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resource Management, or related field

B. Experience

  1. Minimum of 2 years of agency or corporate recruiting experience, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding for technical, professional, or managerial roles—preferably in a manufacturing environment. 
  2. Experience with applicant tracking systems, HRIS platforms, and database mining. Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and Workday is preferred.

Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.

D. Licensure/Certification

SHRM-CP or PHR certification is preferred
