Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm (Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.)

Maintenance Technician

Job Description:

• Complete and document maintenance and repair requests promptly using systems such as Rent Manager.
• Perform general repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and other systems based on skill level.
• Assist with property upkeep, including janitorial tasks and grounds maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and cleanliness issues.
• Support preventative maintenance programs by completing scheduled tasks and logging activities.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents through light repairs, cleaning, and setup.
• Maintain organized and clean maintenance shops, storage areas, and tools.
• Track maintenance supply levels and alert the Maintenance Supervisor when restocking is needed.
• Provide on-site support to vendors and contractors; assist during emergency or after-hours calls as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies while maintaining a professional and courteous attitude with residents, staff, and vendors.

Position Requirements:

• Valid Hawaii Driver's License preferred.
• Experience with or ability to learn property management software (e.g., Rent Manager).
• Working knowledge of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
