Job Responsibilities

  • Targeting residential pool users, participate in the product definition and implementation of pool robots; develop clear and executable PRDs (Product Requirement Documents) and testing plans.
  • Based on the full lifecycle of residential pool usage and maintenance (including pool construction differences, chemical testing, chemical dosing, seasonal changes, compliance/safety), define product requirements: produce PRDs, decompose requirements, prioritize functions, and establish acceptance criteria; collaborate with the R&D team to complete verification experiments and confirm core parameters.
  • Establish a "Boundary Case Library" and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures): cover scenarios such as different maintenance methods, water quality and climates in various regions, and extreme algae growth/load/pollution; and develop a test case matrix.
  • Drive data-driven decision-making: collaborate with the R&D/data team to design tracking (tracking pixel) and experiment plans (including A/B testing, on-site trials, and Beta testing); collect and analyze improvements in core indicators; and output an iterative roadmap.
  • Engage with customers and frontline teams: conduct regular visits to users' homes to collect feedback and improvement suggestions; organize UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and pilot user groups to ensure the product is stable and reliable in real-world environments.

Job Requirements

  • At least 5 years of work experience, with preference for candidates familiar with the residential pool industry; candidates with experience in other technology industries (e.g., residential To C robots, gardening equipment, outdoor power tools, smart home bathroom products) are also acceptable.
  • At least 3 years of product management experience in technology companies; proficient in PRD writing and MVP (Minimum Viable Product) methodology; familiar with the hardware product development process, including requirements definition, R&D, testing, and mass production.
  • Excellent communication skills with partners; able to conduct on-site research and experiments when necessary.
  • English proficiency as a working language; Chinese proficiency is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications (Plus Points)

  • Ability to provide numerous examples of "corner scenarios" (e.g., high temperatures/heavy rains/flying insects, extreme CYA/FC/ORP/pH/T levels, abnormal conditions and compatibility issues with different devices).
  • Background as a Pool Pro (professional pool service technician who provides maintenance and diagnosis for residential or commercial pools year-round) or experience in equipment installation and maintenance; familiar with mainstream brand equipment and common modification/troubleshooting workflows.
  • Experience in consumer hardware/IoT/robot products; ability to translate chemical/equipment/environmental variables into product algorithm or control strategy requirements.
  • Experience in organizing Beta pilots and UAT; able to design effective experiment loops and quickly resolve issues.
