Duties

• Safely operate box trucks with manual transmission to deliver goods across designated routes.
• Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety.
• Verify delivery addresses, check shipment documentation, and ensure accurate loading and unloading procedures.
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, conducting routine inspections before and after each shift.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices at all times.
• Plan efficient routes to maximize delivery productivity while adhering to scheduled timelines.

Experience

• Proven experience as a commercial driver, courier, or delivery driver with a focus on route driving.
• Hands-on experience with box trucks or similar heavy vehicles with manual transmission.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including loading/unloading, heavy lifting, and moving goods.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Valid driver's license suitable for commercial driving; driver certification is a plus.
• Prior experience working in fast-paced environments requiring route planning and punctuality.
